Dustloft in numbers
Every figure here comes from the anonymous count described on the privacy page — a random identifier, a byte total and a version number, with an off switch in the app. There is nothing behind this page that anyone could be identified from, including by us.

Which version people are on
| Version | Installs |
|---|
An install moves between rows when it updates, so this counts Macs rather than reports, and the rows always add up to the install count above. “unknown” is a build whose version string the counter could not parse.
“Data cleaned” counts everything Dustloft removed at someone's request, including items sent to the Trash rather than deleted outright — so it is what was cleared away, not a claim about free space on any particular disk right now. Each item is counted once, when it leaves the active filesystem, and never again when the Trash itself is emptied.
